Senza Tempo Teatro-Danza
We work in the frontier between theater, dance and life, searching for a scenic language that captivates the public with emotions, that transport them into their imaginary personal world.
For our compositions, we listen to the subtle relationships that imaginations makes us discover. Playing with the poetical logic, the surprise and the unexpected, feeded by subtle humour that brings on bewilderment.

Inés Boza and Carlos Mallol met in Granada at workshops given by Janusz Subicz and Nazareth Panadero, members of the Pina Bausch company, in 1986-88 and later worked with these two choreographers to create Nanna Quiere Bailar produced and premiered at the Festival de Teatro de Granada and in Madrid en Danza in 1987.

In 1990 they met in Barcelona and they began working together. This first  collaboration produced Senza Tempo in 1991, the name they also gave the company. Premiered in Barcelona during the Dansa al Teatre Obert, Senza Tempo has been performed in various theatres and festivals in Europe and the USA.

In 1992, still performing Senza Tempo, they were invited, as artists-in-residence, to the prestigious Jacob's Pillow Dance Festiva l (USA) and to Humberside Dance Agency (England) where they presented pieces which eventually became part of their next creation.

In 1993 they create the piece Cuento sin Título (1993), coproduced by Jacob's Pillow Dance Festival (USA), Centre Dramátic d'Osona and  Mercat de les Flors, Barcelona, where it was premiered. It has been  performed in Spain, England and Germany.

In 1994, the company expanded to include two other dancers. A short piece called Cien Años was premiered in 1994 in the Sala Beckett, Barcelona, with the collaboration of singer Sophie Borthwick. In this period they created the short outdoors piece Capricho (1994), first part of a Trilogy of Water . This piece has been performed and can still be seen in several American and Europeen festivals.

Robadors de Sal (1995) is the last production to have evolved from the open and wandering process of creation initiated with Cuento sin Título. Premiered at the Fira de Tàrrega and at l'Espai, Barcelona.

In 1996 the company toured in Spain, Cyprus, France and the UK. They  gave theatre-dance workshops in Barcelona and San Sebastian. They made  the dance video Capricho als Terrats (1996) with the support  of TV3, Departament de Cultura de la Generalitat de Catalunya and Canal Plus.

In 1997 they toured in Spain with Robadors de Sal and presented Capricho in the Usa and Europe. They presented a solo piece De Tul a Tul (1997) in Spain.

In may of 1998 they presented, Lazurd, a journey through the water (1998), the second part of the Trilogy of Water, commissioned by StreetsAhead of Manchester, Fira de Tàrrega and Expo'98, and has been performed in England, Scotland, France, Poland, Portugal and Spain. In may of 2000 they have presented the last part of the Trilogy of Water, Zahoríes (2000), a production of Senza Tempo and Mercat de les Flors (Barcelona) with the collaboration of Fira de Tarrega and Manchester StreetsAhead Festival (Manchester).
