Association
The
ACPDC brings together the majority of the
professional dance companies of Catalonia with a clear impulse to foster a collective entity and give a wider international presence to a group of creative professionals who since the 1970s and 1980s have to a great extent represented the innovation, not only of the language of movement, but also – due to the domino effect of the creativity outburst - of a large part of theatrical creation, as well as giving support and incentivizing the musical and audiovisual creation.
Besides, it responds to the need to establish cooperation links between the different dance companies, bringing together their creative and management necessities.
